Inspiration

Human druid (sage, astronomy) in leather armor — nature magic, Wild Shape, and a scholar's blunt manner. Prefers mercy when he can (e.g. calming wolves on the road). Devoted to his astronomical writings.

Appearance

  • Description: The material culture and physical characteristics of humans can change wildly from region to region.

Personality

  • Traits: I’m willing to listen to every side of an argument before I make my own judgment. I am also horribly, horribly awkward in social situations.
  • Ideals: No Limits. Nothing should fetter the infinite possibility inherent in all existence.
  • Bonds: My life’s work is a series of tomes related to astronomy.
  • Flaws: I speak without really thinking through my words, invariably insulting others.

Backstory

You spent years learning the lore of the multiverse. You scoured manuscripts, studied scrolls, and listened to the greatest experts on the subjects that interest you. Your efforts have made you a master in the field of astronomy.

In play

What the rest of the party has seen Togar do so far:

Session Highlights
01 On the road NW of Red Larch, calmed a wolf pack with druid magic instead of fighting. Investigated the missing carpenter with the group.
02 Found the trap door at Waelvur's Hunting Cabin; present when Ilmeth Waelvur was discovered. Party chose not to press Ilmeth hard about his amnesia.
03 Picked up cult rumors at the Helm; marched toward Feathergale Spire; fought through bandit ambushes.
04 Cleared the spire with the party; returned to Red Larch by air with Ewan McFeathernuttz. Reached 4th level.
05 Before leaving town, visited Helvur Tarnlar, Clothier (casual intro, mentioned the party, browsed wares, no questions, no purchase). On the delegation trail; party tried to keep a bandit alive — Togar crit on magic, went crystal/stone, and charged through the captive in a gruesome accident; visibly shaken afterward. Later fought raiders; badly battered by end of fight.
