Red Larch

[edit]

A small town in the Dessarin Valley, sitting on the Long Road. The party arrived here at the start of the campaign and has used it as a home base between expeditions — eating, drinking, asking for rumors, and setting out toward the northwest woods, the southeastern hills, and the delegation trail.

What the party knows

[edit]
  • Red Larch is a working town — shops, inns, and locals who trade and gossip along the Long Road.
  • The party's usual hangout is The Helm at Highsun, where Garlen Harlathurl tipped them off about Ilmeth and the wagonworks (Session 01), and where they've picked up other rumors since.
  • The town has a lockup where the party spoke with prisoners on their first day.
  • Red Larch has two wagon shops side by side: upscale Thelorn's Safe Journeys and budget Waelvur's Wagonworks — the party finds it odd that both stay in business.
  • The party earned a standing discount at Waelvur's after rescuing Ilmeth.
