[edit]
Player Carter
Race Human
Class Druid (5th level) — Circle of the Land (Mountain)
Background Sage (interested in astronomy)
Languages Common, Dwarvish, Druidic, Elvish, Goblin

Appearance

[edit]

Add a short description here — what the rest of the party sees when they look at Togar.

Personality

[edit]

What Togar has shown at the table:

  • Listens to every side of an argument before making up his mind.
  • Awkward in crowded social situations — better one-on-one or outdoors.
  • Cares deeply about his astronomical writings and scholarly work.
  • Speaks bluntly and sometimes insults people without seeming to mean it.

Add anything else you've played openly in character.

Backstory

[edit]

Share only what Togar has told the party (or what you'd openly share at the table). Keep secrets secret.

In play

[edit]

What the rest of the party has seen Togar do so far:

Session Highlights
01 On the road NW of Red Larch, calmed a wolf pack with druid magic instead of fighting. Investigated the missing carpenter with the group.
02 Found the trap door at Waelvur's Hunting Cabin; present when Ilmeth Waelvur was discovered. Party chose not to press Ilmeth hard about his amnesia.
03 Picked up cult rumors at the Helm; marched toward Feathergale Spire; fought through bandit ambushes.
04 Cleared the spire with the party; returned to Red Larch by air with Ewan McFeathernuttz. Reached 4th level.
05 Before leaving town, visited Helvur Tarnlar, Clothier (casual intro, mentioned the party, browsed wares, no questions, no purchase). On the delegation trail; party tried to keep a bandit alive — Togar crit on magic, went crystal/stone, and charged through the captive in a gruesome accident; visibly shaken afterward. Later fought raiders; badly battered by end of fight.

Magic & fighting style

[edit]

What companions can observe:

  • Wears leather armor; fights with a quarterstaff and dagger.
  • Casts druid magic — healing, nature spells, and control magic in combat.
  • Prefers nonlethal solutions when possible (wolves, negotiations) — but Session 05 showed how badly a fight can go when magic misfires at the worst moment.
  • Carries druidic focus gear (e.g. mistletoe) and scholar's kit from his Sage background.
  • Wild Shape — see Seen Animals for beasts Togar has seen and can transform into.

(Exact spells and stats live on your D&D Beyond sheet.)
