Dessarin Valley

[edit]

The broad river valley in the North where this campaign takes place. The party arrived here at the start of the story and has been traveling the roads and hills around Red Larch ever since.

This page grows as the party visits new places and learns more about the region — add to it after sessions, not ahead of them.

What the party knows so far

[edit]

The valley in general

[edit]
  • A sparsely settled part of the North — farmland, woods, and hills between small towns and trade routes.
  • A major river runs through the region (the party has not followed it far yet).
  • Red Larch sits on the Long Road and has been the party's base for food, gossip, and resupply.

Places we've been

[edit]

The party has only explored a small slice of the valley so far. Confirmed visits:

— (in town) Red Larch, The Helm at Highsun, Red Larch Lockup, Thelorn's Safe Journeys, Waelvur's Wagonworks 01–05
Northwest Waelvur's Hunting Cabin 02
Southeast (hills) Feathergale Spire 03–04
Nearby hills / roads Reaver Ambush Site 05

Other towns, landmarks, and regions exist in the valley — the party has not reached them yet and they are not listed here until visited or clearly described in play.

What we've heard

[edit]
  • A Mirabar trade delegation has gone missing somewhere in the region — finding them is the party's main goal.
  • Locals at the Helm whisper about cult activity in the hills.
  • The party fought through Feathergale Spire, which they associate with wind cultists. They told Red Larch the problem was handled; nobody has verified that claim.
  • Bandits and raiders are active on the roads — the party has fought both.

What we don't know yet

[edit]
  • How big the cult problem really is, or how many groups are involved.
  • Where the missing delegation went, or whether the raiders at the Reaver Ambush Site connect to that trail.
  • What else lies beyond the roads we've already walked.

In play (timeline)
